Hack For Enabling Force 3G Option On Lumia

THIS HACK MIGHT DAMAGE YOUR PHONE

FOLLOW EACH AND EVERY STEP CAREFULLY

{UPDATE}:THIS METHOD DOES NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 8.1 ANYMORE, BECAUSE THE APP NEEDED FOR THIS TRICK IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE INSTALLED ON SD CARD ANYMORE, BUT THE '3G ONLY' OPTION WILL ALREADY UNLOCKED ON WINDOWS 10
MOBILE (BUILD:14267) WHEN IT RELEASES. 

YOU CAN WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL UPDATE OR ELSE GET THE PREVIEW VERSION OF WINDOWS MOBILE 10 FROM :  insider.windows.com

You Just Need Two File : CLICK HERE 

And a PC TOOL Its Called PuTTY......{download putty.exe From the link ... }

BUT....We Won't Be Patching PFD.....Because it doesn't Have The Necessary Permissions.....So We Will Patch 'extras+info' app 

But We Need It in the SD CARD

{First Turn OFF Internet Connection}

1. So Go To settings On Your WindowsPhone....then Tap on date+time...and change The Year To 2110 Or Higher Than That
2. Once You Change The Year...Go Back To Settings and just tap on extras+info....and you will see a message 
3. Just Tap on uninstall
4. And Go To Storage Sense and Check That You Have Kept the Store New Apps On SD CARD Loaction 
   
5. Change The date back to normal
6. Go to this link https://www.windowsphone.com/en-in/store/app/extras-info/2377fe1b-c10f-47da-92f3-fc517345a3c0
7. And download The Extra+info app
8. Once You Download It {It's now on the sd card} 
9. Go To Your PC And Deploy The App "HostApp_1.0.0.9_ARM_Debug.appx" (link given at the starting of this page)      {DEPLOY IT In The Phone Memory NOT SD CARD}
10. Use WindowsPhone Application Deployment Tool which Comes With SDK 8.1
11. After You successfully deploy it...it will appear with name "App Repurpose Utility" on your Phone
    
12. Open The App.....You Will Now See The Option For Extras+Info in it...Tap On it ...and Tap On Next
    
13. Now Tap on Confirm
    
14. Now Let The App finish It's Processes.....After It's Done...exit The app And Go To Setting....and Scroll Down And You Will See Something Like In The Pic Below
     Tap On This New Option
15. Keep The Net Connection On (Connect To Your Home Wi-fi IF You Have One)
16. Open The App And You See An IP Address
    It's Different Ip Address or Everyone
17. Open The PuTTY Software ON Your PC That You Downloaded from The link At The Start Of The Page
18. Once You Open PuTTy.
    
    
    
    
    
19. Enter The IP ADDRESS That Your App is Showing on The Phone
20. Slide To Left And You Will See The Port 
21. Enter That PORT Number on PuTTY
22. Select The Connection Type As RAW 
23. First Go To Your Phone And Tap The Launch  Button Just Under The IP Address
    
24. It Will Show Success
25. Slide To Right And Tap On Launch Button Under The Port Number.....and it will say 'Listening..'
    
26. Go Back To Your PC and In The PuTTY Click On Open
    
27. Once You Get this Your App Will Now Show 'Got connection proceeding to process'
    
    
    
    
    
28. Don't Close The App...or Dont even Lock The Screen
29. Now Type   "reg" IN PuTTY
    
30. Then type "SOFTWARE\OEM\Nokia\NetworkSettings" Then Hit Enter
31. And  Then Type "list" Then Hit Enter
32. And It Will Show A List In Which The Value Of HideForce3G is 00000001
33. So Type "set HideForce3G dword 00000000"  And then Hit The Enter Button
    
34. Thats It
35. Go To Settings And then Go To network+ on Your Phone
36. And Now You Should See The Additional Option For Using 3G Only

You Need To Restart The Phone For Applying It
